Ridgid 45 Precision Ratcheting Flare Tool
The Precision Ratcheting Flare Tool is designed to form 45° SAE flares with minimum effort. A reversible ratchet is built into the feed screw handle, enabling it to turn easily and require less motion and effort than a standard handle. The flare tool is also equipped with a hardened steel flaring cone, which is eccentrically mounted in the needle bearings. The cone produces a rolling action for an even metal flow, resulting in uniform flare walls without galling. A clutch automatically releases to iron and smooth the flare after it is completed.
