Generac Cold Weather Kit for Centurion Es 7000-Watts Air-Cooled Standby Generator
The Generac® Generator Cold Weather Kit for 7kW Core Power is designed for generators in areas where the climate regularly receives temperatures below 32 degrees (Fahrenheit). The kit includes a battery warmer pad and a crankcase heater, intended for use with air-cooled equipment produced after April 2010. However, the setup also accommodates the older products with some retro fitting. Once installed, the kit waits for the temperature to drop below the set degrees. The thermostat then switches on the battery warmer to keep up the selected battery temperature. The crankcase heater is also triggered to start up the generator smoothly so your home is heated during the long duration of cold weather. Keep the engine in the best condition with maximum engine start capability by replacing your oil with 5W-30 synthetic, which is the preferred maintenance for any cold weather kit. For the best results, match up the kit with the Core Power 7 kW system.
Automatic thermostatically controlled battery pad warmer and crankcase heater
When temperatures fall below an acceptable level, the thermostat activates the battery warmer maintaining optimum battery temperature and also activates the crankcase oil heater for the best generator starting
Recommended for generators installed in regions where the temperature regularly falls below 32° (Fahrenheit)
When installing a cold weather kit, it is required that the oil is replaced with 5W-30 synthetic for better engine start capability
Use with Core Power 7 kW system
