It has an internal fan that runs air across the batteries to reduce power delays caused by waiting for the unit to cool down. The DEWALT compact battery charger is small enough that you can set it up virtually anywhere. Make sure to have at least two batteries with you so you can swap them between the tool and charger for continuous work capability.
