The Makita 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion sub‑compact rotary hammer is precisely engineered for working in tight spaces and overhead applications. The 11/16 Inch cordless hammer tool has brushless motor that delivers 0 to 680 RPM, 0 to 4800 BPM and 0.88 ft-lb of impact energy for faster drilling. Electronically controlled BL™ brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application. Compact tool operates in 2 mode such as rotation only and hammering with rotation mode for multiple applications. The variable speed trigger facilitates user to match the speed according to application for increased versatility. Hammer features built-in LED light to illuminate the work area and one-touch sliding chuck for easy bit change. It is fitted with vibration absorbing handle, which moves independently of the motor and hammer mechanism for operator comfort. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Tool comes with dust extraction accessories like a depth gauge and side handle, which offers dust management capability in drilling applications. Tool works well with Makita 18 Volt LXT® and compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.
